The Swiss Military CX watch is the BEAST of ALL BEAST! A world record breaking 20,000 feet (7500m)! The record was held by the Rolex Deep Sea, set in 2008. Not only is the CX an automatic, it also a chronograph, making the record that much more impressive. It is C.O.S.C certified, utilizing a Valjoux 7750, with a 48 power reserve.
More interesting are the dimensions, is it even wearable day to day? It is a manageable 46mm, with the pusher and crown it will wear much larger. If that is not large enough, how about the fact it is 28.5mm thick, which includes a 10mm thick sapphire crystal! The case is titanium to help with the over all weight, it features a helium release valve. Owning this would definitely be a conversation piece. It is a limited edition to 1000 pieces, comes in a collectors box, along with a rubber strap and a changing tool.
Pros - If you own this, your the man!
Consideration - Do you have the wrist size to pull off the look?
